The Estate The History of Los Pandos The Bodega The Wine Story

The Bodega

The grapes grown at Los Pandos are principally Monastrell producing three different red wines and a rosé. Since assuming ownership of the land, our in-house team of experts in conjunction with our vineyard consultants (University Complutense (Madrid) has spent several months analysing the grapes and soil. The vineyard currently produces 300.000 kgs of grapes annually, all of which are taken off-site for the production of local wines.

With our investment, the winery at Los Pandos will see the bodega fitted with state of the art fermentation machinery, storage tanks and bottling facility and wine will mature in French oak barrels. Our agronomist, Claudio Riera, in collaboration with the oenologist is also working to plant new vines for future production of varieties such as Tempranillo, Shiraz, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard will also contain an area of experimentation and evaluation of other varieties of grape. Once complete, the new bodega will have the capacity to produce 300,000 bottles of wine annually.
